Creative Direction 
While running the creative team at the most visited ski resort in California, Mammoth Mountain, the company experienced their most profitable year and also nabbed the top slot from NSAA (National Ski Areas Association) for best marketing for a ski resort with more than 500,000 annual visitors.
Social Media Management

During my tenure as the Social Media Director, the resort had more Facebook fans than any ski area in the world while maintaining industry-leading engagement. We achieved this organically and due to our success, I’m featured in  Ric Dragon’s book Social Marketology (published by McGraw-Hill) as well in stories in Fox News and other media outlets. I also built and maintained the social media calendar, best practices guides, style guide, and measured the success of each channel. He also collaborated on PESO initiatives.

Social Media Contract Work

In May, I spearheaded a social media campaign for a White House Arts program. With a focus on growth and awareness, each channel grew significantly in just 14 days: Twitter followers increased by 34.26%; Facebook fans increased 17.81%, and Instagram exploded with an almost unbelievable 257.69%.


I’ve written straight-forward copy for lodging and vacation clients, rewritten massive websites, and penned messaging for all social media channels as well as billboards and even t-shirts. I’ve also completed a 48-page catalog educated and “sold” the product. I believe that a potential client who is smiling as he’s reading is more likely to buy.  

Loving a challenge, I also created a 40-page magazine that included interviews with fictitious celebs, ads from fake companies, and all front of the book and back of the book material. I’ve completed short scripts for videos featured online.
